The Desert Dream City Series is of ongoing interest Ms. Livermore. So far she has painted five pictures in this cycle. The Dream City, itself, is not only inspired by her dreams, but by the desert and mountains surrounding and engulfing El Paso / Juarez, whose vibrant textures, intense light and rich smells figure heavily into these images.
